We started collecting information about the Keet family name in early 2004 from sources such as the very useful “SA Genealogies” (published by GISA) and direct contacts and contributions from other Keets who are interested in similar information.

Currently we have tracked back as far as one “Johannes Rynhard Keet” who came to live in South-Africa in the late 1700′s. so this website is using that as starting point for family trees. You can review the information that has been collected to date by looking at these pages for a basic list or these pages for an advanced family tree system (under development).

The idea is to collect as much genealogical information about the Keets as possible – hopefully we can eventually make a family tree that’s as complete as possible! We are always looking for more contributions. If you can contribute any information or we can help you locate anyone in the Keet family, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

We are also looking for any history, interesting stories or anecdotes pertaining to the family. If you have something of interest to the rest of the Keet family that we can publish here, please do send it along.
